## Full section analysis

Ontario regulated igaming operates on the basis of a closed-loop system whereby players can only withdraw their funds back to the same payment method they used when making their deposit. Players may be permitted to deposit funds into their player accounts only after the appropriate verifications and authorisation, to ensure that at a minimum deposits made are appropriately authorised by a financial services provider. Players are permitted to withdraw funds from their player account only after the appropriate verifications and authorisation. At a minimum, withdrawals must be verified and authorised to ensure the following, before a withdrawal is permitted: The withdrawal is being made by a holder of the account; and The withdrawal is being transferred to an account of which the player is a legal holder. The AGCO does not consider cryptocurrency to be legal tender and accordingly it may not be accepted by AGCO-registered operators from their Ontario-based players.
