The Ministry of Transport and Communications blocks websites, IPs, URLs and applications of unauthorised gambling operators as part of MINCETUR's enforcement chain, most recently applied against thirty-six platforms on 21 July 2026. Only a MINCETUR-notified domain on one of five permitted top-level domains, .bet.pe, .bet, .com, .pe or .com.pe, under Article 7.6 of Law No. 31557, may be used by a licensed operator; this restriction is the practical mechanism distinguishing licensed platforms from those subject to blocking. Active blocking activity continued and intensified alongside the July 2026 enforcement action, consistent with MINCETUR's stated ambition of inspecting the full remote gaming and betting sector during 2026.
