Infrastructure. There is a requirement for operators to have key infrastructure (including servers) physically situated in Switzerland. The activities need to be operated out of Switzerland. ## Integrations All operators of gambling activities that impose gambling bans must enter the banned individuals into a central register. Once registered, the ban applies throughout Switzerland and, as of January 7, 2025, also in the Principality of Liechtenstein. The banned individual is excluded from casino games (both land-based and online) as well as from large-scale games (lotteries, sports betting and skill games). The ESBK has no access to this register and cannot see who is banned. Software certification Gambling software and associated operations must comply with the standards of the norm ISO/IEC 27001. International standards are taken into account (art. 17 para. 3 MGA). A certificate of an accredited conformity assessment body confirming the compliance of the software with the technical standards is needed (art. 18 para. 2 MGA). The list of accredited professional bodies are published under https://www.esbk.admin.ch/de/spielbetrieb.
